About the Value Architecture Initiative

The Value Architecture Initiative (VAI) is the authoritative repository for the world's first technology-independent Value Architecture Framework (VAKR). This repository serves as the canonical source from which all future products are derived.

Our Purpose

The VAI repository serves as the single source of truth for value architecture knowledge. All automation, products, publications, and future tooling derive from the canonical knowledge contained within this repository.

Value is not contained within an object. Value emerges from the interaction between Context, Perception, Action, and Outcome. Actions create outcomes. Outcomes change perception. Perceived value emerges from those interactions.

What We Deliver

  • Book(s): Comprehensive literature publishing and distribution

Core Architecture Principles

Repository Philosophy

  • The repository is the single source of truth
  • All automation derives from canonical knowledge
  • Documentation precedes implementation
  • Research precedes canon
  • Canonical knowledge precedes commercialisation

Canonical Standards

The following documents are authoritative:

  • GOV-001 — Constitution
  • GOV-003 — Style Guide
  • GOV-006 — Document Metadata Standard

If any generated content conflicts with these documents, the repository is correct and generated content must be updated.

Value Emergence Theory

Value Emergence Theorem

Value is not contained within an object. Value emerges from the interaction between:

  • Context - The environment and circumstances
  • Perception - How value is interpreted and measured
  • Action - The deliberate steps taken
  • Outcome - The result of those actions

Actions create outcomes. Outcomes change perception. Perceived value emerges from those interactions.

This is a foundational theorem within VAKR.
